Previous Corporate/ Work Experience

“In my previous work life, I was the Sr. VP and a founding member of an Investment Management Firm, the Sr. VP of a successful hedge fund ($1.1 Bil. AUM), and the Marketing Director for several regional stock exchanges. My career in the financial sector gave me invaluable business and client relations experience which I continue to utilize today. The rapid pace trained my brain for quick discernment, which enables me to quickly and efficiently assess situations, getting right to the heart of a matter. This is a skill set my coaching clients tend to appreciate!”

What’s your style of coaching?

Coaching can mean many things to many people. But in the way that I was trained, it’s collaborative. It involves helping a client identify and overcome the obstacles that get in her/his way to personal, health, relationship or career success. The same applies to corporate environments.

We discover and address what’s in the way of optimization.

The process may feel therapeutic, but coaching is not therapy. Rather, it’s working together with clients to help them identify what is and is not working in their lives or their work environments — by assessing situations and proactively asking strategic questions.

This inquiry and exploration process helps clients access, identify, and refine what they truly want.

It’s sharing with clients the tools to help them identify and overcome limiting beliefs hindering their growth and achievement. This dynamic 2-way process teaches clients to enhance what is uniquely right for them.

It includes helping them define their goals and come up with customized, actionable plans to achieve them.

I guide clients as they journey into more successful, beneficial, healthier mindsets and practices; help them reignite their passions, strengths, and efficiency while guiding them in their growth and encouraging their achievements, career, health, relationship + lifestyle goals.

HOW IS THE MARTHA BECK COACHING PHILOSOPHY DIFFERENT?
“One of the big differences between us and other coaching programs is that we don’t just start forging ahead and setting goals. We look at the thoughts and belief systems and work to dissolve what is holding our clients back, so they can assess their own inner motivation rather than trying to drive themselves by external motivation (which is really hard, often tedious, and frankly not all that effective). We believe that each person has the key to their own right life within them, and our job as coaches is to help them assess and act on that information, not offer advice about what we think they should do”
